“Bad” / “Wrong” / “Against Criteria”. Call them what you want but you can’t call out other peoples nominations that you believe are “Bad” / “Wrong” / “Against Criteria” if you are doing the same.
The system is not the problem when people stick to it. It is people not adhering to the System that is the problem.
If you refuse to use the criteria when reviewing which you are admitting to here, how could you complain if Staff decided to remove any waypoints you have got in to the database.
Plus, remember you are not reviewing for PoGo. You are reviewing for wayfarer which may be used in PoGo or any other Scopely games.
That is why there is a process to report these to get them rejected but remember that “fast Food Chains” can be acceptable in certain situations. You will need to show proof that this isn’t the case here,
There is no better. There is “Meets Criteria” and “Doesn’t Meet Criteria”.
If they where rejected by ML (AI / eMiLy / Machine Learning) we are unable to help unless you supply the details. Both photos, Title, Description, Supplemental and preferable the GPS Co-Ords. My suggestion would be to create a post for 1 of them in “Nomination Support” and let people here advise you whether it meets criteria or what to change to improve your chances.
IMO: You have a good point here. First I will assume it is a Mural and not Graffiti, Unless the Mural continues on to the pavement (side walk) then I would deem it Unsafe and should be reported.
Which should be reported for removal, it does not meet criteria and should not be in the database. If someone decides to report this then I see it as an obvious removal by the staff.
Just to repeat, you can not complain about others nomination when you yourself are doing the same thing and refusing to do anything about it. “They should be removed for not meeting criteria but I don’t believe in the criteria” just does not make sense.
Stop looking at what others have done and take the advise given on these forums to improve your nominations and I am sure you will have more success.

This! The way I see it, a gated community is still a community, and a court inside that community can still be a significant point of interest to that local community.
I’m not really looking at other people’s nomination. What I clearly pointed out initially in this thread is that I only took as an example the Niantic’s Showcase nomination which we Filipinos see whenever we login in the Wayfarer.
And I’m only speaking on behalf of PoGo players coz I’m not really interested or fully aware of other Niantic games. To be honest, PoGo has long gone here in the Philippines and people who would learn that we still play PoGo would onlynlaugh at us. Having a not so great economy, playing PoGo is but a luxury here because of the amount of money you need to spend just to play the game. Currently, I fully utilized my Bag Item and Pokemon Storage but I’m still waiting until December comes before I purchase again Poke coins. If you are practical, you would buy the Poke Coins which costs around 50USD instead of purchasing much lower amount because if you do buy the much cheaper amount, you would be ending spending more. What I really wanted is that our community here would be given sufficient Poke Stops and especially Poke Gyms because I personally had to travel 1-3 hours in a particular Mall in the upper part of Metro Manila where there are 5 poke gyms all inside in one mall. If you had the chance to experience the chaotic traffic here in Metro Manila, you would understand where my frustration is coming from. In addition, it is really difficult just to rely on 1 gym especially if there’s raid hour or community day. I’m not sure how waypoints work in other games. I sincerely hope that they could make a separate process for PokeStop Nomination since not all people in the Philippines play other Niantic games. I bet if they are aware of it. The more popular free-to-play games here are Mobile Legends, CS Go, PUBG mobile and other RPG. In my case, I’m not really interested in playing other Niantic games because PoGo alone gives me a lot of headache. And please understand that we live in Metropolis where basically retail chains or establishment are common in one place. You cannot expect Churches, cemetaries, schools, gyms or other place which are in Niantic’s suggested locations to be in one place.
I rest my case. This might be my last reply here. Anyway, we come from different community. It’s best to meet people in the community in person than here online.

Hey don’t give up. I know it’s not so easy to start but I’m sure we can help you to make some successful wayspots.
When you mentioned “in other niantic games” it will mean that they’re a) to close to existing wayspots to appear on the map (inclusion rules) or b) some kind of geoblock is involved (property owner request e.g.).
I can sympathise with that, as I’ve experienced issues with my own community when a gym or stop disappears - I always get the blame even when it was probably a property owner report 
I have had nasty messages accusing me of removals I had nothing to do with. It’s not a nice situation so you have my sympathy there
My approach is to try to add something new into the area before reporting anything for removal - so that it’s replaced immediately and no one “loses out”. This seems to protect me from any issues so far and there haven’t been any more nasty messages yet. 
I would also try to educate people that things are only removed if they’re unsafe, or if they have been removed in real life - to try to set that expectation that if something is demolished, that its likely the PoI will disappear one day and to try to prepare for that by looking for something new to replace it with. Then they start to see its not a nasty process, its just a continual series of updates to try to match what’s there in real life 
Niantic does not pick and choose what goes on the showcase. They are determined by an algorithm, and change every week or so. The example you started with is someone else’s nomination which happens to be an excellent example of a Wayspot, which you wrongly stated was against criteria in your title here.

Community Ambassadors do get to place a Pokestop that is not connected to a real world point of interest. There are rules around where this can be placed. This is outside of Wayfarer.
I disagree. It is some parts of the country that still have traditional views that look down on people having hobbies that do not contribute financially. I have found friends that are leaders in their own fields and in PoGO.
That said, having a non-financially contributing hobby will always be a luxury. It is by definition a luxury.
I do get the frustration whether it is Metro Manila, Tagaytay, or Urdaneta, traffic follows where the industry is. I am the same as you if I want to have a grind at the games.
I’d like you to reframe the role of Wayfarer in the creation of pokestops. Wayfarer only reflects reality through showing the places where leisure happens. Pokemon GO does not create places for leisure, rather reality should have these (and other QoL amenities) for the people. The root of the problem would lie in the logistics of irl interaction.
I’m open to discuss in person about this. I bet we have the same frustrations when I first started the Wayfarer program.
