That depends on how long they serve their time. Abuse ladder system doesnt mean you need to go from 1st ladder. Depending on how wayfarer see this, abuser might be getting straight to harsher punishment.

And I beleive that what I stated about multiple images gaining multiple votes is just an assumption.
Niantic will not give information in regards to this as if we knew the exact criteria it could be used to âgame the systemâ.
All we can do is report anything we see that could be abuse and then hope that Niantic act upon it.
In my opinion Votes should disappear after a set amount of time and any votes for removed photos should be removed but this is down to Niantic.

Like I noted earlier, we do not fully know what Wayspots become gyms, and we also have no control over which ones are stops and which ones are gyms. This is up to PoGo staff to determine, so not really a Wayfarer issue.
Based on my experience, and again itâs my experience, the 2nd, 6th, and 20th approved Wayspots that are eligible for PoGo become gyms. The L14 cell that I mentioned, the 2nd Wayspot approved was one I submitted, and it became the gym for that cell, not the older Wayspot.
Being this is less Wayfarer related and more PoGo related, there isnât much else we or staff can assist with here. You most likely need to take up the issue with the gyms with the PoGo staff, as theyâre the ones that control what becomes gyms and what doesnât. Wayfarer just provides the map of Wayspots for PoGo to choose from; Wayfarer has no control over what shows up in the games.

Its wrong assumption that the oldest nomination will become gym. Anyway like above said, wayfarer dont hold control about which pokestop become gym.

There was no ârobberyâ, gyms were essentially given away for free. A closer analogy would be that someone had a tip about when and where theyâd appear and grabbed two. You can report them for something like âlitteringâ if they broke any rules in the process, but not simply for being greedy.
Also, the claim about yours being the âoldestâ and therefore âcorrectâ is inaccurate. Your candidate would only be the âcorrect gymâ if it met nianticâs internal, undisclosed criteria - which may or may not include factors like local popularity, but certainly isnât based on age.
We have many here in the forums that have to use the PoGo link to report things that are only PoGo staff can handle, such as a sponsored stop/gym being in the wrong location. There is no restrictions on who can use this web form, and from time to time, Wayfarer staff may even direct users to this link if it isnât a Wayfarer issue but a PoGo issue.
I am planning on using this form in the near future, as there are a number of Power Spots for a convenience store chain that has changed names, but title edits are disabled for these Power Spots, which isnât surprising since theyâre imports.
I really did not want to use this form either because of that wording. And because the options for what I want to report donât usually match up. But the fact that help chat kept telling me to use this form as well as ambassadors finally convinced me. When I use it, I just pick something and then tell them what I am trying to report in the body. I select the option that I am not the property owner, but the automated reply to acknowledge receipt of my report usually has that text about needing proof. DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL. Another email will come with a personâs name at the beginning.
Since you are reporting abuse, you may prefer to use the Reporting Abuse form. That one is much more straightforward.

But I really donât think any of these options will undo the promoting of the gym.
As others have said, the oldest pokestop isnât the one promoted by default. If there are no other factors in play, it can be any of the pokestops in the L14 S2 cell, including the newest one that was just added to trigger gym creation. There is a popularity mechanic others have alluded to, and a post on the old forum called trying to exploit this abuse.

Again, Wayfarer has nothing to do with the placement of gyms; that is solely a PoGo issue. You have to contact PoGo in regards to the placement of the gyms.
As noted several times, Wayfarer has no control over placement of gyms, only PoGo does. Players also have no control over placement of stops/gyms, only PoGo does. Iâm, sorry, but there really isnât much more that anyone can assist with in regards to this matter.
