Photo Criteria Check : What to do with placeholder image?

Recently changed my bonus area and my review’s are flooded with “Select the photos that don’t meet the criteria“,

Previously due to low review on photos in my area, I generally mark both of the images(if acceptable) as “All photos meet the criteria“. Are we supposed to mark placeholder images as not adhering to the criteria?

What is the general approach for this, I am pretty sure leaving the placeholder image as good images is fine, just wanted to know what needs to be done here.

I would mark it as not meeting criteria, as it isn’t a picture of the wayspot. That being said, I’m not entirely sure it actually matters. When the new photo is approved, the placeholder is automatically deleted from the wayspot anyway.
