So on July 29th on my iPhone 16e using iOS version 18.6 I submitted a new photo for a POI in Pokémon go. I’m unsure of the game version because I think it’s updated twice since then. It was rejected, but it came back with a strange line where the reason should be. I was wondering if that is a bug or something?
This text shows up when the wayspot has never been edited before since it came into in the game.
I will edit a picture here for an example.

When the wayspot has been edited since it’s release it will show the date it was last edited. If not the text on your photo will stand there instead.
Like this with you for example:
Translation: No edit history
That’s very interesting thank you. I am still curious why that would show up as a rejection reason, and what the reason for rejecting it was because it seems like a satisfactory picture to me?
I suspect photo rejections don’t get a reason, because as a reviewer, you can only select the equivalent of “Yes” or “No”, so there is no rejection reason to provide. Photos are either accepted or rejected.
“No modification history” is simply additional (unhelpful) text and is not a replacement for a rejection narrative.
(I can’t speculate on why it was rejected!)
Ah, that’s a fair point. I haven’t gotten a pic rejected in a long time so that didn’t really occur to me lol.
