We have a local park we would like to be made into a Pokestop, this is what was previously submitted, however, it has been rejected. It’s a common community recreational area, it’s in a safe spot, and parks similar to it (without standard park equipment eg swings and slides) have been accepted in the surrounding area. I’m not sure how to go forward in making this a pokestop, any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated!

This isn’t quite how wayspots should be thought of. Thinking “I want this to be a wayspot” is a thought process that can lead to frustration. Instead, thinking “what can I find that is eligible to be a wayspot” is much more productive.
This is probably being rejected because it doesn’t look like a park in your photo. Is this the place?
It looks like a green desert (featureless green space with heavily mowed grass that simply exists without much purpose).

And I agree with @salixsorbus
I think this strip of landscaping would be hard to put across as a green space / park. If you are going to try then one of the stepped entrances would be best as they are a distinct point.
For example
As supplementary if you have pictures of it being used for gatherings etc include that. It’s something that may not pass.
However just across the road you have a large parks/ play areas next to the beach.
Although there are already quite a number of stops there is potential for more.
Have a good look at the outlined areas as a wayspot in these has potential for pokestops.
Things you might not have considered are benches with a view.
I have moved this to nomination support as that seems more appropriate.
