  • Additional Information (if any): this are the picture that I took 7 years ago… Im just seeing if this forum work or it doesn’t…

PS: don’t let me lose the faith on Niantic…

This forum does work, but this is not how you make an appeal. The purpose of the Wayspot Appeals category is explained here:

Appeals of rejected nominations are made through the contributions page https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/nominations . We get 2 appeals, each on a 15 day counter before we can use it again. If you do not see the button, you do not have an appeal to use.

You have said before that you do not think I understand your culture, so I will respect that, and not try to advise on this particular nomination.

Rejection for being a natural feature is something that was legitimate until a couple of years ago. Natural features were not accepted for a long time, but that quietly changed.

This submission was done in 2019, so although the tree has a sign, reviewers still incorrectly rejected it for being a natural feature.

Your options are to Resubmit or Appeal (using the method shown above). Both of these should lead to an approval, assuming that this sign still exists and there isn’t already a wayspot here.

thx, I know the options… I just want to see if anybody from niantic can do something.

You have to appeal or Resubmit. Niantic will not override a community (or ML) decision without you appealing. Hoping that in this case they will is not sensible and you cannot reasonably judge Niantic because of that.

Hi, moved this to Nomination Support so that people will be able to advise on resubbing or appealing. Indeed you can’t ask for a community rejection to be overturned without making an appeal from your account. It would also help if you shared the nomination in full.

I personally would suggest writing more of a description, and making it one that would characterize the object you are nominating more. Presumably you are nominating the tree (an interesting thing) and not a sign that says “do not do XYZ” (not an interesting thing). If you make it clearer what exactly it is you are nominating, you will likely get less community rejections.
