I hope I am describing this accurately as a street with large gated apartment complexes on either side.
Each of these has a number of obvious sports facilities, pools and shaded areas.
All of these are good quality candidates. They are communal spaces for exercise or socialise.
I appreciate that you might not be able to access them all easily. The rules are as long as some people can access then that is ok.
If you live in one of these blocks presumably you have access to some facilities.
If you can take some photos, and show us here.
It is important that you take the photos even if access is difficult. You must not use photos taken by others, or you could get into trouble.
So can you tell us more about these complexes please.
I’m guessing the answer is no for this, but do you know if the graffiti on this wall is commissioned (assuming it’s not Single Family Private Property)?
To add from Eli’s comment, in the review page you will see a small (i) at each question. If you click the corresponding one for “Appropriate”, you can further see the allowed and ineligible locations. I recommend reading each sentence as a whole thought.
Mine have all been denied and i thought actually playing and leveling really high woukd help too. And the nominations are literally in a walking circle and it sucks that we cant help player in small towns and i agree that its weird that most are in bad spots or random areas and sometimes we need pokestops and gyms not at parks. Its weird being a grown man and having to avoid raids so i dont creep out families.
You expressed in your post frustration over some nominations that had been declined. If you would like some help with those please do make a fresh post in nomination support and we will try to help,
Unless the park is specificly designed for minors and minors only, possibly with the accompany of a parent or a guardian, you have just as much right to go to the park as anyone else, even if you go on your own. How you do your exercise in a park is nobody elses business other than your own.
Please understand that some acceptance/ rejection also because AI. If email said that rejection comes from “our team” , then its AI doing. AI and even communities can make mistakes in reviewing so dont compare your submission with existing one. If somehow your submission got rejected, you can ask for opinion here before making appeal or resubmission. I have done my appeal and have some of my rejection overturned.
Actually, human decisions from Niantic will also say “our team” now. But if it was rejected around 20-24 hours after submission, and the rejection reason is “Wayfarer criteria” then it probably was the Ml (machine learning ai) model.
I don’t think most reviewers check Wayspot’s approval criteria, conformity criteria and rejection criteria because the help has details but I’m sure no one will see it.
So most of the time, some users will check through the reference tab.
But most of the users often apply for anything without even checking. The funny thing is that even though it’s not a standard, it’s approved or rejected.
Emily says she’s judging a lot of things, but it’s mostly influenced by the judgment of the local judges.
As many people wrote above, Wayspots that do not meet the approval criteria can be removed at any time.
If there’s nothing in the crowded parks, trails, or walkways in apartment complexes that meet Wayspot’s conditions.. Wayspot can’t happen.
On the contrary, if there is anything that meets Wayspot’s standards, even if it’s a place where not many people go around at all, it will appear with approval…
It’s a sad thing, but I can’t help it..
I’ve also made a lot of suggestions and inquiries.
But I just get the answer to look at it because there’s more content in the help than in the approval.fit.reject criteria tab in official Wayfarer..
It’s questionable who’s going to press and see all those tabs..
I am not sure about your area, but i live in jakarta, bandung, batam city over the course of 11 years i submit wayspot. Way spot is not guarateed in all places but i look enough, i will have things to submit. Dont compare your submission with other. Focus on current criteria. People here can help suggest improvement
