I RUN THESE ROADS EVERY DAY. i would rather run/walk to pokestops than to drive around collecting them on other streets. If you take a look at my map and where I’m at across the Main Street there are over 20+ pokestops that I would have to drive to, to collect. If those stop signs on the end of each of those roads are allowed pokestops why aren’t we? We have less traffic on our road than the roads across the street. Give me my pokestops.

The streetcorner wayspots were an import to add wayspots to populated areas that didn’t have many. They are explicitly not eligble for submission by the community and their existence does not change the criteria rules.
Every community-submitted wayspot must meet criteria and eligibility.

If you give a general location, some folks on the forum are good at looking around on the map to make suggestions of things to submit. If you just want to be part of the street corner experiment, there is no way to request that. The places I have seen these go live in the US are in suburbs, where there are a lot of homes, but not many eligible locations for wayspots.
Also, please don’t think that the street corners change the eligibility rules. Lots of them are in the road or on SFPRP, which makes them completely ineligible for community submission (even without the issue of failing to meet criteria), but Niantic haven’t shown much interest in resolving this or in clarifying that these are special pokestops that can’t be copied.
