Possible Gym Generation Issue After Sponsored Gym Removal

Dear Wayfarer team,

I would like to report what appears to be a possible issue regarding Gym generation after the removal of a sponsored Gym(Familymart).

The location is in the China Airlines Headquarters area near Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.

Previously, there was a sponsored FamilyMart Gym at this location. After the FamilyMart sponsorship ended, the sponsored Gym was removed as expected. However, since its removal, no new Gym has been created to replace it.

At present:
*The area contains numerous PokéStops.
*There are currently zero Gyms in this area.
*The sponsored Gym has been gone for quite some time, yet no PokéStop has been promoted to a Gym.

Based on my understanding of the Gym generation system, I expected the game to recalculate the area after the sponsored Gym was removed. Since this has not happened, I am wondering if the area may not have been updated correctly.

Could you please investigate whether this location is functioning as intended? If there is an issue with the Gym generation or map synchronization, I would greatly appreciate it if it could be reviewed.

This area has the correct number of gyms for the wayspots that exist.

When a sponsored gyms is added, this is an extra gym in addition to the usual gyms that are created from pokestops. When this sponsored gym is removed, this extra gym will not be replaced.

The only exception is when additional pokestops are added after the sponsored gym is created, as the sponsored gym will prevent a normal gym from being added. In this situation, the removal of the sponsored gym will result in a normal gym being added.

This is not that situation.

While we are not able to fulfill your request to add back these locations at this time, we recognize the disappointment this may have caused and hope you continue to seek out adventures at other PokéStops and Gyms in your surrounding communities.

Thanks for your reply. So, if I understand correctly, it looks like this area still needs another eight or nine PokéStops before a third Gym will be created. Is that correct?
