When submitting a Wayspot Appeal, make sure to include as much of the following information as possible:
Wayspot Title:얼굴
Location (lat/lon):35.176705,126.91265
City: Kwang-ju
Country:south Korea
Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information): i didnt receive email from niantic, maybe some email’s are sended to my old email before i connected.
As a result of the appeal, my nomination was finally rejected by nianctic, is there a problem? Niantic’s answer is that it is not a wall art category, but I did not find a graffiti category when I assigned a candidate to upload. It’s graffiti that has existed for a long time, and if there was a problem, it would have already been removed by the administration. In the past, during wayfarerchallange, I saw similar nominations approved normally in many European countries. In the past, i had an experience in which the opinions of the Niantic team gave different result to the same nomination, one was rejected another one was accepted.
Have this nomination a problem?
This is a very bad comment from the appeal reviewer.
First of all, categories from submitting are not linked to any Wayfarer Criteria - there are several clearly ineligible entries in there, is the list is only a catalogue to add from.
Graffiti that are closer to vandalism or a random smearing are inlegible. This is the true reason why the appeal reviewer rejected it, but worded it extremely poorly. There’s the criteria collection here in the forum, where this part is also described.
Current accepted Wayspots may not be representative of current criteria, either the rules have changed over time.or the wayspot in question should never have been accepted in the first place. So what you see in a game might have never been acceptable, and a similar submission will not be approved
In some places in Europe, this was largely ignored by reviewers, which is why you see so many of them there.
This one was rejected by the community on the first try. On my second try it was pulled from the voting queue and directly approved by Niantic. I’ve also had a large graffiti piece approved on appeal. That piece was on a remote electric power station and obviously vandalism but still approved by Niantic. I often feel it’s a crapshoot getting things approved, for many of my nominations I’ve made four attempts before getting them through.
