Rejected nomination due to name in description

Hello!

I’ve recently submitted a graffiti nomination, which was rejected on appeal with the reason “contains author name”.

I find it extremely rude to send me to the rules, as it clearly states: “Do submit descriptions that credit artists for artwork”. Dulait – is pretty important person to the local graffiti communities and he is a public figure:

– Dulait – Urban Heritage Hub
– Dušan Rajić – Dulait | Before After

Can you, please, advise whether the appeal rejection reason was incorrect or I’m missing something?

I should make clear that I only commented on the appeal rejection statement. Idk if this should be accepted. I can’t tell anything about the eligibility of the location, or if this is vandalism.

This is a rejection reason I haven’t seen before:

The description either contains spelling or grammatical errors, or is inaccurate

You do have some spelling and grammatical errors in that description, but nothing that makes it unreadable.

Yeah, but that’s because of mixup of serbian and english languages, that’s really my bad.

I wouldn’t have rejected for those errors, but you can feel free to submit in the language you are more comfortable in. There is no language requirement for Wayfarer.

Clearly the reason for rejection is wrong so it would be good to see if this is something that should be ok

Why dont u use the word mural? Graffiti is usually considered ineligible because it is usually done without permission

Graffiti has slightly different meanings in different places. I tend to use the phrase street art.

I call things graffiti art and its usually fine I dont recall having anything rejected
