Good Morning.
Please restore the incorectly deleted POI in Błonie , Mazowieckie , Poland.
From August 23 to August 28 we lost ~ 40 wayspots.
All these wayspots met all the criteria to be legally in the game.
Our Gaming Comunity has suffered greatly from this… we would like to get back to enjoying the game to the fullset and we have been unfairly robbed…
Please listen to my request and restore the Wayspots that existed before August 23 (point visible in the screenshot from https://pogomapy.pl/
Looking at the map you shared, it appears that some heavy wayfarer abuse had taken place to create a density of Pokéstops that should not have been possible due to the one Pokéstop or one Gym per Level 17 S2 Cell rule.
When Niantic is made aware of such locations, they typically remove all the Pokéstops or Gyms in the area and then allow the database to sync with Pokémon Go again, resulting in the correct density of Pokéstops and Gyms in the affected area. I’m sure @NianticAaron or @NianticAtlas could confirm if that’s what is happening here. You may have to wait a few days for the Pokéstops that are eligible to be in game to reappear.
These wayspots have existed continuously for over 4 years, and with all due respect, there are many places in the world where there is point on point and you cant click on two separate ones because they are on top of each other, so this case is not an „exception” in the game world
Such locations only exist through wayfarer abuse. Just because the abuse happened several years ago and was only recently detected doesn’t mean it should be allowed to remain as it is. Whoever is responsible for this cheated the system and you should blame them for what it’s happening currently, as all Niantic is doing is fixing a situation that should never have been possible in the first place. Each of those cells (red boxes) on your map should only contain a maximum of one Pokéstop or one Gym. Not two. Not three. And certainly not five or six. Just one.
If you’re aware of other locations where clear wayfarer abuse has taken place, you’re welcome to report those locations and get them fixed as well.
I know this is coming as a shock to you and your local community, but Niantic over the last few months has been reviewing clusters like this because of the wayspot placement abuse.
Note that each Niantic game has access to the Lightship database where all the accepted wayspots are stored. Then the games select from it to populate their game boards based on their inclusion rules. So the manipulation in the past broke a bunch of those rules.
