How are we supposed to review nominations that can’t be seen on satellite, and have no streetview, or can’t be seen on either?
Do you have a specific example? I know this comes up a lot with new construction around me. I do my best to research the name of the development, trail, etc, and look for clues in the photos that I can compare to existing satellite view. If it is a business, for example, I do a Google search for the address. If I can’t confirm a poi is there, but it might be, I choose “I don’t know” in accuracy and check the location box. I only reject for location if it just cannot exist there.
No, but there’s almost no way to know if a nomination is there if it’s indoors with no streetview, if it’s not on Google either.
In that case, “I don’t know” on location accuracy is the best you can do. I probably use that in more than half my reviews.
Oh, and indoor nominations pinned outdoors are some of the few that I do reject for location. I can’t see where they are to correct the pin, and they can’t exist where they are pinned.
