I resubmitted a POI recently (first one was rejected for targeted harassment, I assume because the plaque mentions two semi-famous people by name? and because I had taken a photo from google street view as supporting evidence) and the submission (with new photos) was rejected again despite (in my opinion) fulfilling the criteria and making for a pretty good spot. The notice just says “the community has decided not to accept your Wayspot nomination”.
I need your guys’ opinion if I should appeal, resubmit, or move on from this waypoint.

Is the purpose of this house still as single family private residential property? Is the plaque on the outer wall of the property? If so, then this is SFPRP and ineligible:
The text string mentioning harassement pops up when abuse is flagged for any reason. It could be for other kinds of abuse: 3rd party photo, misplacement of pin, etc.
The submission just updated to reflect that it was rejected based on being on private property. The plaque itself is on the sidewalk, and the house is not a single household residence. Should I appeal based on that (making the plaque the nomination) or upload pictures that show more clearly that the plaque is on public ground?
My first question is whether this is still a single family homes, and if so, then it wouldn’t be eligible.
2nd question is whether both pictures are now ones you took yourself? Thats likely the reason the first was rejected for abuse - due to the google picture.
The plaque in itself may be valid, but without me finding out the exact location and doing a Streetview examination, I don’t know if the plaque is on private property (Single Family) or multi-family / business.
If the plaque is on a propery that is occupied by a business or multiple families, and you can demonstrate that to be the case, appeal it and provide as much evidence to back it up.
Yes both pictures are my own. I learned my lesson the hard way haha.
It is a residential property but with multiple parties living there and there is also still an office there. The plaque is not on the property of the house, it’s on the side road by the sidewalk attached to a staircase that is used by several of the houses and is city property as far as I am aware (which is common practice here, but I have not personally checked city records to verify).
oh, yes, probably that then. I used to just type in the words from the plaque since I was showing the source of the quote, but now I put quotes around them to be obvious that I am quoting.
I think you can put the picture you want to share onto some sort of sharing platform and add the link to the appeal (like google drive or similar), so yes you can share additional links or images on an appeal if you want to
Would the plaque itself be eligible if it is on public ground even if the house for example isn’t? Because the plaque is definitely on the sidewalk and a shared staircase, I will triple check if the house is indeed a multi-household property (which is what I saw when I was there), but if it turns out it isn’t, could I submit the plaque by itself?

Deinen ersten Versuch hatte ich noch gesehen. Du hast den Ablehngrund mit Missbrauch bekommen, weil du ein Foto aus dem Internet geklaut hast aus einem Online Forum. Das ist glasklar in den Wayfarer Kriterien nicht erlaubt, dafür hättest du gesperrt werden können sogar, also bitte immer eigene Fotos verwenden!
Bei deinem zweiten Versuch, wieso hast du die Webseiten nicht in die Zusatzinfo gepackt? Das darf man, es wäre nur in Titel oder Beschreibung nicht erlaubt.
Wie schon andere gesagt haben, wird dein größtes Problem sein, darzustellen, dass es kein Einzelnes Privates Wohnhaus ist. Es ist so, dass egal wie historisch es sein mag, es dann trotzdem nicht erlaubt wäre, wenn es zutrifft. Bei großen Villen ist das schwer abzuschätzen, wenn man nicht gerade mehere Klingelschilder oder briefkästen sehen kann.
Für Niantic Scopely zählt diese Art von Privatgelände immer bis einschließlich ganz zum äußersten Rand inklusive Treppen, Zäune, Hecken usw. Die Tafel selbst würde nicht davon befreit sein
I see Kawin is answering . But for this specific question, yes, if you can prove that the plaque is in an eligible location, you can submit that, even if the thing the plaque talks about is not. I most often see this issue when an artwork is in an unsafe area like a roundabout, but the information plaque about the artwork is interesting in its own right and is in an eligible location.
Okay du bist tatsächlich der perfekte Ansprechpartner für meinen Fall! Das erste Foto hatte ich aus Maps, aber du hast Recht, dass wohl die Originalquelle ein Forum war. Hab in der Hinsicht meine Lektion gelernt und werde in Zukunft definitiv nur noch eigene Fotos verwenden.
Zum Sachverhalt:
Die Treppe an sich wird von zwei Häusern dort benutzt die meines Wissens nach jeweils auch mehrere Parteien haben, ich werde dort nochmal hinlaufen und nachschauen und ggf. nochmal Fotos machen und dann einen Appeal hochladen.
Wenn ich gerade schon den Experten an der Leitung habe noch eine Frage (falls es nicht erlaubt hist innerhalb von einem Thread noch ein anderes Thema aufzumachen kann ich es gern wieder löschen) , Anfang der Biesingerstr. gibt es noch ein Straßenschild mit Info über die Namensgeber der Straße (Familie Biesinger) das leider völlig verdreckt und wenig leserlich is , gerade auf Fotos. Meinst du das wäre einen Waypoint wert sofern es sauber wäre? Ich hatte es auch mal als Vorschlag hochgeladen und es wurde (ehrlicherweise ja auch berechtigt) abgelehnt weil “not distinct”, vermutlich durch den Dreck.
Also Straßenschilder an sich sind nicht erlaubt, aber wie du ja weißt, hat die Stadt für (wissenschafts-)historische Persönlichkeiten und co ganz viele Plaketten an die Straßenschilder gehängt. Deine Einreichung sollte daher ganz klar auf die Plakette abzielen, sowohl vom Foto als auch Text her, also möglichst die Plakette nah und im Fokus zum Beispiel.
Die Information auf der Plakette lässt ´jetzt nicht darauf schleißen, dass es tatsächlich was würdiges zum Entdecken ist,m auch weil sie zu verwitter zum Lesen ist. Du kannst versuchen, die Informationen selbst in Beschreibung und Zusatzinfo zu ergänzen.
Eine Sache will ich aber noch generell sagen: Ich sehe, dass du in dem Wohngebiet gerne etwas hättest, aber manchmal gibt es einfach gar keine Möglichkeit, in solchen Gebieten Wayspots zu machen, die Pokéstops werden können. Vielleicht findest du in der Ecke noch was super Tolles, aber vielleicht auch nicht und dann ist es eben so. Zum Glück ist ja in der Stadt aber nichts wirklich weit weg^^

Ich hab allerdings auch generell Gefallen daran gefunden, Wayspots zu finden, ist irgendwie eine schöne Möglichkeit, die eigene Stadt mehr zu schätzen. Und ich fände es natürlich generell auch schön, wenn man sich beim Spielen im Wohngebiet bewegen kann, weil ich spiele meist nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit und da möchte man selbst in Tübingen nicht mehr überall unterwegs sein.
Für die Gegend um den Bahnhof und Anlagensee geb ich dir recht.
Was mir noch einfallen würde nahe der Biesingerstraße wäre das Foodsharing Café, schwierig aber vielleicht geht das ja
