How on Earth are there any postboxes left to submit 
I am trying my best to get them submitted as fast as I can. 
I found one a few years ago but was cycling in a group so couldn’t stop to take pictures. Unfortunately, it’s a long way away from here, but I strongly suspect no-one else has come across it.
(I can’t check because of the zoom issue with the online map,.and not remembering exactly where it is, so I would have to repeat the cycle ride and hope I find it again.)

It’s quite possible it will never get spun and no-one will ever catch a pokemon near it, so it would be completely useless in Pokemon Go.
I have subbed wayspots in a complete dead-zone (all networks) which might still be a complete dead-zone, and I don’t expect anyone to ever interact with them. So a wayspot being unused has nothing to do with it needing to be added 
Buttt…Buttttt… just think of those who can spin without having any connectivity! Will someone think of the spinners!!

I still think about that missed postbox and that was 4 years ago.
I saw a postbox on Openstreetmaps just outside a park. Thought, it must be an E2R postbox as someone whould have subbed it already! Turned out it was a VR Postbox, which I subbed and it got approved. And yes, it’s about the Wayspots….
I have found pre EIIR pillarboxes & wallboxes in Bath in the last few years. I’m surprised @P1dg3ySlayer ‘s pillars got through the filter since that has been a problem for many.
Had a few get rejected but got approved either via appeal or resubmission. If pre-E2R’s are eligible, I see no reason not to submit them. I’d stop subbing them the moment it stops meeting the eligibility criteria.
Sorry did you just say the appeals team approved a postbox?
Just checked… Had 3 rejected on appeal. For some reason I thought I had one or two approved on appeal. These were over a year ago.
Thanks - that’s the result I would have expected. I’ll always nominate them if I find them too & hope for the best.
I was going to nitpick your George Regina but I see you’ve corrected it to George Rex in later submissions but you don’t need “Rex” and “King” in the same description as they mean the same thing. You could just say “George V”, monarchs use roman numerals and the numerals imply a king or queen in this context. So I guess I’m nitpicking anyway.
I too hate to leave a potential wayspot unsubmitted, I get properly annoyed at things like pubs that aren’t in the game. (Although I am taking a break from submissions because OPR has been suspended and I do both at once).
It was later fixed…. I got my words mixed up and used Regina instead of Rex. I prefer to add Rex (even if I use King) as when I can, mainly to remind me that it could have been one of my subs.
I can’t sub stuff for OPR as I am not high enough level to submit there.
I’ve just found a GVIR using Open Street Map. Will be heading there this weekend.
Found that one and two other unsubmitted postboxes.
