Should i try and nominate again, or accept the decline?

Yesterday I had two nominations declined by the AI. I am considering whether to try again, or to accept that they do not follow criterias. I very much feel that they DO follow, but would appreciate others opinions.

Both are located near each other, in an area with a lake, shelter, wooden statue, a small forest and several different hiding trails.

No 1 is called “udgangen fra tarzan-bane/ alternativ indgang” and marks the exit from a long balancing track, made from old wooden posts through the forest. A small bit of the track is visible on Google maps, but the rest is covered by trees. I’m thinking the problem might be the picture, and that I should take some closer pictures?
This spot is obviously encouraging physical exercise as well as social interactions, so I think it follow the guidelines. It is also a very great place for exploring.

Would it maybe be better to try and nominate the track itself, from inside the forest? I’m thinking in the small spot that is visible on the map?

No 2 is called “natur hængekøjer” and is from the same area, and I’m thinking that the main problem is the pictures?
This place follows the guidelines for social interactions as well as exploring.

I have attached pictures of the nominations and a picture from Google maps, which shows some of the track through the trees.

Should I accept that these do not follow the guidelines, and try to be even more certain in the future, or should I try again with better pictures?

They are located close to each other, so I’m fully understanding that they probably won’t be in-game if accepted.

There are no signs or info boards in the area, since thats not really a typical thing to do.

I would appeal, the AI usually struggles with a lot of natural features, certainly the balancing track should work. The hammocks are nice, but may need some convincing text.

Thank you. I’ve already made one appeal this week though, what’s also one of the reasons why I was being hesitant.
I’m pretty new to wayfarer, so I’m currently making several nominations a day and doing my best to look around my area. Besides the whole pokestop-thing, it’s a pretty funny way to look at ones surroundings!

There’s already several sets of approved hammocks around town, so I was sure it followed the criterias.

I will try and appeal the track and see what happens.

I’m never in a hurry with my appeals. I usually start with those where I favour my chances, and during times where I don’t do any new nominations, I just clear my backlog.

I’m considering some of the rejections as simple feedback, to what fits the criteria, but I just really felt that these two should be fine.

Since you’re new to this let me offer some general advice. I encourage you to look through the criteria carefully. Also check out the Criteria Clarification Collection.

Avoid looking at other approved wayspots as examples of what you should nominate. They could help some, but they will also lead you astray. The whole Wayfarer experience is subjective and the rules for what’s acceptable change over time.

Lastly, take a stab at doing some reviews. It’s a good way to see how others put together their own nominations and will help focus you on what meets criteria and is a good nomination.
