Hi, welcome! What @cyndiepooh said - they never would have been Pokéstops or Gyms in the first place. The introduction of the Power Spot mechanic lets them appear in Pokémon GO in some form where you previously would have had nothing at all.

I have the confirmation emails that they were approved as wayspots. They had just as much space as others I have submitted. It was stated that the powers pots would not take pokestops. What format do you need the location to check?

Wayspots doesn’t equal PokéStops. They can be used by a variety of the games for a variety of things, even if they don’t appear as PokéStops such as Power Spots, Portals or Mushrooms.

i can look on iitc (a map of portals) with the pogotools overlay to show cells. name of wayspot and gps coordinates are easiest, but approximate location will probably work almost all the powerspots at our main park are ingress portals that don’t also appear in pogo
