UK Postboxes Topic

Thats the plan but it was Niantic that Rejected it when it was “Under Review” :frowning:

Actually, it states “Reviewers” ???

Yep. Reviewers rejected it. Don’t worry, we’ll send the heavies over to the reviewers who rejected it! (For the mods: I’m only kidding!!)

When it was “Under Review” it had the Niantic logo so I assumed it was “the team”…

///Whisper Mode///
Please tell me you was only kidding about “I’m only kidding!!” . I do see you as a Liam Neeson in Taken kind of guy…

I’ve never featured in any of the Star Wars films… I’m more Leslie Nielsen.

If you can, tey and get a closer picture of it with less shade. Id have accepted it, but because its hafs to see within a split second, some reviewers will just reject lol

I dont appeal postboxes, tend to find niantic reject them lol

I often appeal them. It is hit and miss, and often or not, the staff here do accept the appeal.

Again, please emily, let it go to voting, its one of the rarest types in britian :sob::sob:

Last summer when eMiLy was more active both accepting and denying nominations, if I wanted to avoid it and have the nomination go into community voting, I had success with leaving it on hold for a few days.

It may well be observational bias and worth nothing, but for me the bot didn’t pick up what I had first sit on hold.

Surely you’re joking…

If you think I am joking… here’s the proof.

It’s my day off today.

Is Emily back? Really. Exciting. Actually. In the last two weeks done. 30 noms. Processed 20 odd. All but one went to queue. But did one an hour ago (after it had been on hold) it went into straight to voting and just been accepted. I had two rejected both of which I gave an appeal to and both accepted.

@gazzas89 Re pillar boxes. I nominated two in London and both are now accepted. Pillar boxe style. One a rare anonymous (no cypher) - In total I have nomated two wall and two pillar. Never had an issue. So either I have good reviewers - or I am just brilliant. I am leaning to the first one. But I notice the rejection says no adhering to guidelines. Can you share it full. Love to see it - just to see what on earth is going on.

@P1dg3ySlayer Edward one that has been dualed with an ER over the top looks a classic for acceptance as it a rare modification for sure. I Would write to post office museum and get an official slip or something.

There’s a Global Challenge happening right now. Also managed to get the Edward VII postbox through…eventually.

ML didn’t go away for rejections. Just auto acceptances stopped (photos are still being accepted by ML).

I wonder. IF the description is too much.

George V cyphered pillar style mail box. Built between 1910 and 1936 by (insert builder name here). George V cyphers differed from earlier cyphers with a simpler design where the letters are not interwoven. George V cyphers sit between the Edward VII and Edward VIII cyphers.

Something like that might be easier to nail

It is interesting it is rejected. Three of mine were in London and all the same suburb so not a congestion issue. Weird.

Let us know if it goes through! Please

The firs ttime itnwas rejected by reviewers for being incorrect totle or description, it wasnt. But since then incant get past the ai
