I often wonder about the strategy or implication of the choices for home and bonus areas.
Every explorer will see nominations from their current area(s). If others in their country/region use an upgrade, theyāll also see nominations from pretty far afield, as well.
Should I set my home location to a far distant land that Iād like to explore? Try to make it fall in the middle of the next nine-square L2 block over from my current area? Try for a very populous and active area for fans of my game? Be scrupulously honest and put the pin on my actual childhood home?
Iām entirely uncertain about thisā¦
Iāll be honest. This challenge I found more enjoyable than other challenges. Yes it had its problems, but one of the things that was a QoL improvement was the ability to change locations at a whim to help get the reviews down. I think there should be an option of being able to change at least the Bonus Locations at least 2 or 3 times a week to allow those who review to go around the world and help review.

I think that depends on what u want to see. Setting bonus location in foreign country means extra work to understand whats the nomination about

I think a lot depends on the country.
Since I am in the U.K. itās a very north -south country and Iām in the north of England.
So if I put my bonus in Scotland I will get reviews from there and my home I put in Cornwall /Devon I get that corner of the U.K. so I could cover a good chunk of U.K. and nice variety.
So look at the shape of country and do you want cities or rural forests and trails or park and buildings.
You should be able to change bonus in a few months but think carefully about home.
Is there a place that needs help - thatās a good place for bonus.
There are lots of tactics, you can spend a few a Hours trying out a some places.
Thats how my home (solid blue) and bonus (blue circle) work, so I think I get most areas of the country at least for upgraded stuff.
I seem to get more Scottish stuff at the moment

The community has observed that the bonus area appears to correspond to a level 7 cell and the 8 surrounding ones to give a block of 9 cells.
Iām suffering from review withdrawl syndrome! I need more globe trotting reviews!!!
