Hello, I have an issue with this submission who has been upgraded last Friday July 12th. Usually It takes 24-48h to be in vote but this time it still stuck in queue since 6 days.
A lot of people are finding that upgrades are taking longer these days. My guess is that the ones that took 24-48 hours were accepted by the ML model (machine learning ai) which is very fast. Those emails will say โour teamโ found instead of the โcommunityโ decided. If the upgrade is still stuck in a couple of weeks, please let them know.

Hi, thatโs why I donโt understand because I used an upgrade ( amรฉliorรฉe in French ) but even with that it still on hold since a week. Itโs not my first time upgrading a submission, but this time it took abnormally too long
i thought that had to say โin queueโ - i didnโt know you could upgrade something on hold or hold something upgraded.
Welcome to the wonderful world of incorrect French translations. For whatever reason, โen attenteโ stands for both โon holdโ and โin queueโ so you literally canโt distinguish both statuses. In addition, this expression is also part of the โIn Votingโ status. It is all extremely confusing, not to mention deeply incorrect.
That being said, I donโt have much to contribute to the main discussion point except that it should be highly possible for an IDF nomination to garner enough votes over this period of time.

I have also noticed upgraded submissions taking longer to resolve, so Iโm guessing after all of this info, this may be the case. My last upgraded submission took over a week to be resolved here in the US.
I think there is still some reviewer fatigue out there. Itโs also summer in the Northern Hemisphere, so that could be another reason for it taking longer for resolution, as less people may be doing things outside and away from devices.

I also have sumbission in queue for 5 days even though itโs been upgraded, it hasnโt even entered voting yet. And I also have an upgraded submission in voting for almost 5 days now. Itโs a church, which usual gets automatically accepted by AI, but this one is new and modern, itโs just inside a building. I have another upgrade to use but they seem to be useless now
Please see my previous response. Again, upgraded submissions are taking longer to resolve currently, and there could be a number of reasons that Niantic has no control over.
Yeah, I was just letting OP know that theyโre not the only one with that issue. But regardless of there being less people voting right now, itโs weird that Iโm getting regular submissions going into voting faster than upgraded ones, even though they were submitted laterโฆ but oh well, it is what it is.

I can totally understand your position. Itโs a lot of time and effort to get an upgrade so when itโs getting used itโs supposed to change the status in " in voting" and not stay in queue for a week or more.
Upgrades do not change the status from in queue to in voting. Upgrades open submissions up to a wider area of reviewers. You can have an upgraded submission in queue until a reviewer does vote on it.

I donโt want to be annoying but my submission has been in the queue for exactly 1 month despite the upgrade. Iโm patient but can someone confirm that it works as expected? Itโs not my first upgrade and normally it took few days or less to be โin voteโ in my city.

I see that itโs sitting in the right queues and has the right visibility. So, I would say that it is working as intended. I wonder if the edits to this submission pushed it back.
Nevertheless, please wait for some more time (a week may be) and if nothing happens, please follow-up on this thread and Iโll get it reviewed manually.

There is a link to my post above, but usually using the upgrade right, the approval rejection result came out within two weeks if it was short or long on the same day.
But it once took up to two months.
Please wait a little longer and if you are waiting for the screening or staying in the screening process even though you have been waiting for a long time like me, you can ask for a manual review through inquiries.
Another upgrade In Queue for weeks, when it usually takes 1-2 days to go In Voting here.
