On a serious reponse from meā¦ if Ingress players do get any form of challenges, I do hope they get something decent.
in the past, the ingress rewards tended to be more generous so hopefully they would. Iām not sure how much eng effort will e available to facilitate challenges for the much smaller user base though and thatās the real hurdle
Perhaps a stupid question but will the existing Wayfarer PoIs remain / be synced to Niantic Spatial?
I doubt Spatial will want to start building a new map from scratch, especially for established Ingress players.

Historically Ingress players were the ones who built out the wayspot database, 13 years ago.
There is a lot besides Operation Portal Recon, before it was Wayfarer.
Ingress players also have enabled millions of wayspots to be VPS activated, these are systems integral to the game Ingress, whereas Pogo players for the most part donāt care about how these systems are also integral to Pogo.
What Iād like to know is how on earth the Ingress team and Niantic Spacial are meant to be able to have an accurate Portal map if they are working on their own system (OPR V2?) and have that be as up to date as the Wayfarer wayspot database?
Wonder if this will this mean stricter guidelines for submissions on Spatial. Itās been the wild west out here.
A lot of submitters utilize Ingressā IITC for scoping out nominations. Will there be an alternation for Pokemon Go submitters?
Also, from my understanding of this post, our Ingress nominations will eventually not show up in Scopely games? Is there a timeline for us to expect this change?
Also, I utilize all 80 of my nominations between Pokemon Go & Ingress. Will the Pokemon Go nomination amount be increased?

So basically i jeed to submitnstuff twice now, knce in ingress and once in pogo ā¦ then appeal both twice if they get rejected but shouldnt have been ā¦ this is gonna get irittating

Is there any plans to compensate Ingress players for their efforts?
Well, this was very sad news to read. Iāve come to really enjoy Wayfarer and the community here, but looks like Iāll be getting the boot coming up at some point as I donāt play PoGO. (Unless they open Wayfarer up for Pikmin, then I might be back!) Hopefully the new Ingress submission process is similar and Iāll see some of you there!
More a question for the Ambassadors that are only playing Ingress, will you guys be staying on board after the transition?
