Have you restarted doing a few a day? Was there an increase on the upgrade wheel during the time off?
I did review a few the past week. There was a difference in my upgrade wheel. This I didnât and nothing happened. It weird because is still have 600 above nominations 600 reviewed. So how does it increase if I do review but the amount of reviewed nominations get more.
I have experienced the same thing.
I have the same problem and i follow criteria.
Maybe youâre doing good overall, but you miss the wayspots that Niantic pre-judged then put in the system to test us. (Slang for this is âhoneypotsâ.)
From Niantic Wayfarer - 1 Month Check In â Niantic Labs says
"quality control measures will help to make sure that Wayfinders who are not adhering to a high standard of review quality are removed from the program.
These measures include actively monitoring the platform for abuse from both Submitters & Reviewers. Weâve also taken steps to pre-approve or reject certain Wayspot nominations prior to them entering Wayfarer. Reviewers who disagree with our assessment may see a dip in their performance score. "
Just because NianticAaron didnât mention it, doesnât mean they stopped doing it.
Regardless, I recommend reading these Criteria Clarification Collection - Niantic Wayfarer and see if anything is counter to how youâve been voting.
If only the candidates in the wrong location exist, then it is natural that they cannot find the right location. If that candidate exists in a different location, is it valid to attach a link to another website that will prove the actual location? (e.g., a load view of another map information service)
@LittleGoodHappy did you reply to the wrong post/topic?
You might think this is a bit off-topic, but I believe the evaluation reflects the exact location and the right candidate assessment. It was lacking until last week, but itâs good now. I may not know exactly because I lack experience, but I think credible external map guidance services help prove the information by providing accurate location information. When choosing one of several location candidates, you can always save additional verified road views or map records, and if you open a popup window to write incorrect location information, you can submit records in the same way. Itâs an excellent solution to prevent contamination of location information through the participation of many.
As with all automated systems, the operation does not aim to hinder the processing of a large amount of accurate data. If the goal becomes to prevent acts of deceiving NiA, the benefits will return to you. This screenshot did not take just two weeks.
@LittleGoodHappy but Niantic literally confirmed there was an error in the system and gave nos fixed it - hence everyoneâs ratings going back up! So Iâm not sure what your comments mean? Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Please let me know if you canât understand my post because what is it that you know is wrong with Niantic? What youâre saying is that your rating dropped because Nianticâs new review system didnât reflect peopleâs reviews, and itâs normalized because Niantic rolled back the system? I was rated Good this week and became Great yesterday. Are you saying that this is a symptom of the rollback?
Hi @LittleGoodHappy
Hereâs the post about the known issue, but itâs solved now(?) (some folks here commented that theire rating doesnât come back, so ):
Yes, I got it. I also understand what the situation is because the ratings kept going down before that. Now the problem has been fixed. Thank you.
I use this⊠then realize itâs really a fake or canât locate the object so I rejected⊠Some days later is a PoI accepted
I hope I can be of some help to you. When judging, the object must always be firmly anchored to the ground, so you donât need to consider rules that operate in other games, just a variety of map information. However, since the range within which the object is recognized as existing is not a point, you will need to have accurate coordinate calculations when submitting your nomination that follow the 20 meter ingress rule or the S2 PokĂ©stop rule in order to get more nominations approved. The information I submitted is not intended to create more PokĂ©stops, but is merely an opinion on how to get more review points, which is the topic of this article. Like me before, many people donât know the difference between getting judging points and submitting a nomination. This is my interpretation of the statement in Wayfarerâs FAQ: the person submitting the nomination never has to complain to the judges - they can either change the physical location of the nomination to build it and wait for it to be reflected in the recognized roadview system, or they can submit the nomination with coordinates that are satisfactory to the judges - itâs up to the person submitting the nomination. I have a few upgrade tickets, but I donât have the tools installed to submit many nominations, and I donât have the skills to create well-positioned nominations, so Iâm grateful to those who do submit nominations. I get points because they submit candidates.
This is wrong. Criteria doesnât mention it being anchored to the ground.
- Acceptance Criteria: 1. Must be a permanent physical, tangible, and identifiable place or object, or object that placemarks an area
- Rejection Criteria: 2. Ineligible location, place, or object: Location, place, or object is temporary, or highly unlikely to be permanent
If you can proof that the object is permanently placed in that location, it fits the acceptance criteria. Remember that the burden of proof is on the nominator, not the reviewer. They need to proof that someone with wheels and not anchored to the ground is permanent.
As an example: A popcorn wagon in the middle of a park.
- Based on the minute of a reunion that park managers had, it can be proven that the wagon was donated to the park, and placed, 15 years ago, meaning it has been there for a long time.
- It also mentions how they plan to fix the weather damage on it during this next winter, meaning itâs likely to stay in place for a long time.
- Doesnât mention any plans on moving or removing it, doubling down on it being a permanent feature.
