- Wayspot Title: Fredet Bygning med smutvej til parkeringsplads
- Location (lat/lon): 55.250168678016834, 9.489908205155047
- City: Haderslev
- Country: Denmark
- Screenshot of the Rejection Email (do not include your personal information):
- Additional Information (if any): The rejection states that it is a private residence however the pathway where the picture was taken is a public place. The building itself is subject to many pictures taken during the year by a lot of different people already so making it a pokéstop wouldn’t do anything different for the place. The Danish championship in orienteering has had a stop at that building a few times as well, so it is a publicly accessed place.
Hello and welcome @sputnik333
In order to help you we will need to see the full nomination so we can see the details. Can you post the full original nomination and the appeal, and the wayfarer team response to the appeal.
This area of the forum does not deal with this sort of query so I am moving it to nomination support.
I am so sorry, I genuinely though that i was posting the correct place!
I have attached the submission and appeal in a screenshot to this mail
Kind regards
Allan

Hello and welcome,
I don’t know how a “Listed building with bypass to a car park” is eligible (this is the English translation of your title). Looking at this on Street View, I’m not seeing anything that would be a great place to be social, exercise, and/or explore, which all nominations must meet one of. Here’s the Street View for anyone wanting to take a look.
Just because people take photos of the building or in front of it doesn’t prove that it meets criteria, and just because an orienteering championship makes players stop here still doesn’t prove it’s eligible. And it is possible that this is on private property, which is fully defined as single family private residential property, or SFPRP for short. I’m in the US, so I can’t say how SFPRP are in Denmark, but it could be possible that this is on SFPRP.
If you still want to, feel free to share screenshots of your nomination. You may also want to review the Wayspot Criteria section, to know what may or may not be eligible, as well as the Criteria Clarification Collection here in the forums.
This does appear to possibly be private property. Even the facade of a SFPRP is ineligible as a location. There are many SFPRP out there that have unique designs, but if they are SFPRP, they are ineligible locations. Even if the building is historical, if it’s SFPRP, it’s still ineligible, too.
Please do review the criteria in the link I previously provided so you better understand what may or may not be eligible.
I get what you are saying.
I might be bad at explaining it as you probably figured english is not my first language:)
The building is in the mideval part of the city center and there are tours that show off the buildings where the tourguidrs are dressed like the old town guards and tell about the history of the center and the buildings so i thought that because of pre-existing heavy foot-traffic on the public cobblestone road and a lot of pictures being taken from that road it would qualify.
I am sorry if i have misunderstood something, that is a real possibility.
Kind regards
Allan
Weclome Allan!
Feel free to use any language you like. We can use the translate button. And whatever language you speak, someone here will also speak it.
This is the specific clarification about SFPRP (Single Family Private Residential Property)
So if this is a family residence, it is ineligible. They may have given permission to the orienteering group, but there is no pathway to do this with a Wayspot.
I don’t see a photo of what you were submitting, so I can’t make any further comment about the submission than to try to explain the “private residence” rejection.
Gotcha, i think i found out where my misunderstanding came from then than you all for the answers i will use them to better myself
