I was going to submit a nomination for a gymnasium/multi purpose center attached to a church by my house and noticed this duplicate stop. It has the same name as the church gym but no picture. It’s in its own level 17 cell but still not showing up on Go, Pikmin, or Ingress.
Can I get it removed? And if I submit a wayspot before it gets removed, will it affect the new wayspot from showing up? (Assuming it gets approved) Or is there a way I can add photos/description to be approved on the current wayspot?

Can you show us what the Wayspot looks like when you tap on the exclamation point? It was probably an import for a powerspot. If that is the case, it will not be shown to reviewers if you nominate the gym.

It’s not on Niantic Spatial’s Map, and it’s in its own cell.
If it also doesn’t have a picture when you tap on it, then I feel safe in agreeing with @cyndiepooh that it’s likely an import for a powerspot. In this case, you would be safe to submit it as a Wayspot nomination as that import won’t show up during the review process.

Both are named Second Baptist Church hence me calling it a duplicate. Just don’t want my nomination to not turn into a Pokestop bc of cell conflicts.

i feel certain that is an import for a powerspot. it will not affect the gym nomination.
you can report it as a duplicate. i am trying to remember how i did that. i think that i used help chat at https://wayfarer.nianticlabs.com/new/help to report that the import is a duplicate and should be removed. but that is why it is not showing as a pokestop - those imports were not eligible to become pokestops.

Thanks for the appeal, @KaaDaKaveman! After reviewing the additional evidence provided, we’ve decided to retire the duplicate Wayspot in question.
