Wayspot nomination immediately into regular voting

I don’t think many would report as abuse, but the system does track what we are submitting, and could flag any issues for staff to look into. If staff sees the place holder text as an issue, they could take action, and there’s no guarantee that it will just be a warning.

I have actually submitting things where I have figured out what the word that isn’t allowed is, and edited so I can submit. One word that I had issues with is grotto, which is a small cave, one that could be a religious site. The grotto I nominated just happened to be at a Catholic church, and even though it wasn’t really a cave, they had named the statues and prayer area a grotto. I wasn’t able to submit with that word, and I figured it may have been due to the grotto at a certain mansion in Beverly HIlls, CA, where some s3xual activities have happened. I decided to swap grotto out with statues, as there are 3 statues in this area, and I was able to submit the nomination. The main photo shows the 3 statues, so using statues is still accurate to the Wayspot.

Someone who doesnt know whay tbc or tba means can confuse it with a calling card or a way to try and influence reviewers, specially if they see it more than once.

I have never had the problem of it going straight to Voting.

I do use “update” as place holder text. This is a message to me so “tbc” does seem a better option.

I could use “This is just placeholder text that I plan to update when I return home. On the off chance that I either forget or Wayfarer places it in to Voting before I get a chance to edit please do not report as Abuse. Please just reject the nomination and I will try again at a more convenient time. Thank you for your understanding”

And we’ve circled back around to telling reviewers how to review…. abuse

I think this has wandered around and is off the initial topic
