What we are actually doing is nominating Wayspots, not game play locations. Wayspots get added to the database map, which is used by each game to determine game play locations. Each game has their own density/inclusion rules; PoGo uses S2 cells, while Ingress uses a 20 m rule. More info on S2 cells in PoGo can be found here:

Feel free to provide the title and location of your Wayspot, and we can certainly check to see if it meets the rules.
If its been approved 2 weeks ago and still havent appear, it probably in the same cell with another wayspot. You can check it urself or share the area coordinate for us to check. In the other hand, unused wayspot might become powerspot so ur submission is not wasted even if it doesnt become pokestop/gym.
Bug Reports should include the following and any additional information you feel is necessary to aid in the investigation of the bug.
- Description of the issue
- Date first (or most recently) experienced
- Device type, model, and operating system
- Game & Game Version (if applicable)

This most likely isn’t a bug, but how the density/inclusion rules in play. Each game has their own density/inclusion rules, as we are actually nomination Wayspots, not stops/gyms for PoGo or portals for Ingress. PoGo uses S2 cells for their density/includion rules, while Ingress has a 20 meter rule. More info on S2 cells in PoGo can be found here:

Feel free to provide the locations of the Wayspots you are wondering about, such as a lat/long or street address, and we’d be glad to see if they meet the rules to be included.
Ciao! You previously posted about your accepted wayspots not appearing in Pokémon GO. I am assuming this is the same question and you are adding more detail?
So far we have no indication that this could be a bug - it is way more likely to be a case of not meeting Pokémon GO’s inclusion rules as mentioned above. I am merging this thread together with your previous one just so everyone answering you can do so in one place. However we can’t help you just yet because we would need a more specific location for each of your wayspots. Can you please share the coordinates as they appear in your submission emails? Thank you.
