Wayspot Submission Accepted but Not Appearing (1 month)

Hello,

My last five Wayspot submissions were accepted; however, only one of them is currently appearing in the game. The remaining four have not appeared, even though they were approved over one month ago.

Could anyone please clarify why they are marked as approved but are still not available in the game?

In order to help you we will need the names of the wayspots and their GPS coordinates - see under the photo in the submission email.

It is likely to be about the inclusion rukes Pokémon Go use to select wayspots for the game board, so do read this article

I’m afraid I already deleted the email, even so, one of the examples is the spot " Cruz número 2 - Monte das Cruzes" and the coordinates should be arround here: 41.216178, -8.591743

It’s in the same cell as Placa do Caminho de São Tiago – Fundo de Vila at 41.215669,-8.591685 so not eligible to appear as a pokestop

Oh, I see. There can be only one by each cell? But, in some cases, I’ve seen 4 pokestops all together. I’m not sure if they are in 4 different cells.

Also, How can I see the cells as you show in the image, so I can review the others?

You can get 4 waypoints really close when they are close to where 4 cells meet…

The cell overlay is using add-ons to the new map. We are unable to link to them but if you google Wayfarer Tools then follow the link to the Discord server you will be able to get help.

I will take that into consideration.
How can I view the map as @wooperIooper showed? It would help me understand whether the submission is within a cell or not.

Please Note: Do not use the cells to mis-place a wayspot to get it showing in the game, this is classed as Abuse and can lead to suspensions that will effect both Wayfarer and any Game accounts.

They can be used to determine…

  • If a nomination is likely to become a Stop / Gym or even a Dynamax Powerspot.
  • To position a nomination where it has more than 1 legitimate location. Example: Sports grounds are suggested behind either goal so the map could help to decide which to use. A statue only has 1 location so must be placed accurately.

Your nomination may…

  • become a Powerspot (Dynamax / Gigantamax) depending on its proximity to other waypoints.
  • replace the existing waypoint if that is removed for legitimate reasons. ***
  • be used in other Scopely games.

***Do Not attempt to get a legitimate wayspot removed just to get yours on to the map. This is seen as Abuse and can lead to suspension / bans of all accounts (Wayfarer, Pokemon Go and any other Scopely games).
