Wayspot submission not reflected

I’ve made several nominations that have been made over 24h ago now, and still haven’t had an email for them nor do they show in wayfarer.

I have made other nominations more recently, I see my limit of available nominations going down, but it’s not getting uploaded.

Edit: more recent nominations I made in the last hours are coming through, but many from yesterday evening (a bit over 24h ago) are still missing.

Bug Reports should include the following and any additional information you feel is necessary to aid in the investigation of the bug.

  • Description of the issue
  • Date first (or most recently) experienced
  • Device type, model, and operating system
  • Game & Game Version (if applicable)

Yesterday I submitted 10 wayspots through Pokemon Go. Each nomination went through with no problems and uploaded and showed the screen to say it had been submitted, also showed in completed uploads. I only received one email from Wayfarer acknowledging submission, it was the sixth one I submitted. I have checked my contribution list and only the one has appeared. I am using an iPhone 14, latest operating system. This happened yesterday afternoon June 13th. I have been adding waystops for a long time now and have never had any problems before.

Please provide:

  • A screenshot of your nomination, including rejection reasons if it has already been rejected
  • Include the title, description, both photos, and supplemental information
  • Copy and paste the title, description and supplemental so others can translate them
  • If you feel comfortable please share the location, as it is helpful (i.e. hidden duplicates), but you can mask it if you wish.

I had a nomination uploaded thru in game but it hasn’t appeared yet in my contributions page since yesterday. Should I renominate or is it some sort of bug?

Mine was several hours after the gcloud glitch. I am in AEST and it was around 3-5pm on June 13 in Australia. I received one email from ten nominations.

I have gone back and done one again today and it has worked this time. 1230 AEST June 14.

It’s still an issue though. It hasn’t been fully resolved.

Again, there is still an issue. Also, in the main bug report, staff did note that the Google Cloud outage wasn’t an issue for Wayfarer.

Staff is also unable to replicate since the Google Cloud issue was resolved.

It’s still best to post in the bug thread so that staff know it’s affecting you, too.

I Nominated 13 Wayspots between 9 pm 13th June and 1 am 14th June. My Timezone is UTC +2 Germany.

Only 2 nominations showed up and I only received a confirmation email from those two

6 hours later, no sign of the other nominations

18 days ago everything was fine didn’t even know about this problem but 2 days ago new nominations stopped appearing, so far only 1 nomination appeared from 4 nominations i submitted yesterday.

This is a new issue, and you will want to post here

or mods may need to move your post there.

At ~8am UCT+1 I was able to make a wayspot submission. This was done at home using WiFi and was followed up with an email and entry on the contributions page. At around 9.30 I submitted a wayspot in the field using cell signal. This was not followed up by an email or entry. Further to that two photo submissions were made today at around 9.45am & 12.50pm. Neither were followed up by emails or entries. They were via cell too.

EDIT: just got emails for those images from today (and another I forgot about). 3.45pm UTC+1. I’d quote the delay time but all three came through at once so it seems more like a blockage being cleared.

I guess I should add this for science. I made a nomination from home on wifi at 5 pm EDT and did not get the submission notification email until 7 pm EDT, when it appeared on my contributions page. Except for the two hour delay, everything seems fine.

Update to my prior report: my daily nomination count went back up to 40 noms being available instead of being stuck as 37 for about 2 days.
However, still no nomination emails and no noms showing up in my contributions list.

Can the status-not-a-bug tag be removed so folks know this is actively being investigated?

I submitted a few hours ago 4 wayspots and have not received any emails or noticed anything in the wayfarer submissions tab.
