Please help me. What is plack? What does plack mean in Swedish?
This is coming back as meaning “plate” in Luxembourgish, not Swedish.
You may want to consider using a translator when reviewing, as you can get some different languages from time to time when reviewing. Not all of the reviews one will get will be in the langage that they speak/read; I’m in the US, so I get different languages quite often that I only know a little bit of, as I’m a native English speaker.
Wayfarer doesn’t have a specific require language that has to be used in any area of the world. What matters is that the language that is used is accurate in naming and describing the POI.
The word plack in Swedish means coating on the teeth. I’m sure that’s not what is meant when nominating…
It depends on what was submitted. If you feel that the title/description is inaccurate, you can reject.
In English, we spell that as plaque, but as well as being the stuff that builds up on your teeth, it can also be one of those little metal, wood or stone tablets that a memorial or commemoration is inscribed on.
