A telecom tower is not something that would meet eligibility criteria.
It is not a great place to exercise, socialise or explore. It is a piece of utility equipment.
I wouldn’t consider submitting something not eligible as worth reporting. Was there anything else about your submission that may of triggered that in the text or location?

Thank you for letting me know. I live in a rural town that has like 800 to a 1000 people living there with not many interesting poi’s or structures. I will be more careful witb my submissions in the feature if I do find something else

Although I think it is a little over the top, perhaps someone reported it as a fake nomination, given your description of it as a historic tower. It might be older, relative to some things, but historic is a description that requires some substantial evidence as to its importance.
