Using a bit of “Guestimate” as they have only shown XP needed for every 10 levels in the new system you will now need approx 2 million XP to get to Level 35 which would have got you to Level 30 currently. Currently you need 6 million to reach Level 35 (Wayfarer Level) which will get you to level 42…

The issue I see here is loads of trainers get to higher levels by using lucky eggs and friendship bonuses. That doesn’t mean they know anything about the criteria or the map. So making it level 40 wouldn’t necessarily make them better at what Wayfarer needs.

Excellent points! We need some way to make sure that anyone who submits and/or reviews understands the basic eligibility, acceptance, and rejection criteria.

For me it goes down to time to get to the respective level. As it stands right now, you can get to L35 in next to no time.
