Like my title says in the last week and a half 20+ POI’s have been removed gradually out of the blue. I’m not sure if this has anything to do with the new bus stop initiative Niantic is doing or if someone is reporting these. I was wondering if thier is some way I can get these stops reinstated.

Since there are so many, You can start by getting one or few example of removed poi that you think have highest chance. Build case about thats the poi is and why it fit wayfarer category. Or you can wait staff to return and explain whats happening.
Geotagged images (the watermark kind) to show that the physical objects are there, links proving the object/place is eligible may apply.
Wayspots can also be disabled for select apps/games so providing the approximate location is needed to ascertain the issue.

If its removed by property owner request, there is nothing you can do. 20+ wayspot doesnt just dissapear for nothing. Someone must have report it. Only staff know why its gone.

See thats the thing I can’t find a connection between all the removed POI’s. On the first day it started I chalked it up to a business owner removing a stop, but as more and more stops got removed that theory got thrown out since other POI’s in that area where tht first stop got removed are still there. It’s just a weird purge of POI’s across my town. It’s not just in one location either maybe within a 4 mile radius these stops are being removed

The removal of wayspots is not connected in anyway to the addition of street corner pokestops.
Some questions:
Are all the removed wayspots of the same type? For example a trail or all in cemetery?
For reinstatement the information about providing proof is the key. Geotagged photos are needed to show they still exist and the location.
Does anyone know how to reinstate POI’s? I’m trying to get some of the removed POI’s back and try to get the person reporting these POI’s banned for malicious reporting. The POI removals havent slowed down and at this rate my town will be reverted back to the POI’s we had 10 years ago and looking at over 100 POI’s removed.

Ok thank you but it does sound kinda counterintuitive to have to do that at the current moment about 40 times.
You can just create a single post that lists all of the wayspots and attach the geotagged images
You could start with one if the project is too daunting. Staff will have had evidence that the wayspots should be removed. Or they will have had a property owner request to remove them. They will not be reinstated if it was a property owner request.
I understand what you’re saying, but again I first have to catch up geotaging all the removed POI’s while this person is actively and maliciously removing more POI so it feels like I’m going in a circle chasing my own tail. Second I’m going to have to take time out of my day to do this and on top of that some of these POI’s are under snow. I’m just saying some kinda safety net would be nice
I would say 97% are on public property and the other 3% age were at business for 7+ years at different places in town so again it’s someone going around falsely reporting
It would help to know what kind of POIs we are talking about. Are they all similar and in close proximity or are they very different and all over town? Why do you believe someone is removing them maliciously?
