Yes, it is. I am glad that you have come to the forum and can learn about how Pokemon Go uses S2 cells. A really good article explaining is this one:
https://pokemongohub.net/post/article/comprehensive-guide-s2-cells-pokemon-go/
If you would like to give a general location, I can show you how the L17 and L14 cells look in iitc - a map of Ingress portals.
I found the Adventure Toy at -23.144015,-46.934061. The other wayspots are all quite close to it.
For some reason there are 3 wayspots representing the play area here:
Adventure toy, Playground do Mirante (-23.144061,-46.934066), and Parquinho do Mirante (-23.144020,-46.933971 which is in the middle of the road and also uses an identical picture to the second one).
I think some clean up work needs to happen here.
This is what the cells look like at the location @hankwolfman found. Most of your nominations must be too close to show up in Ingress either, which has a 20m rule. Do NOT use this information to submit things that aren’t there to empty cells, that can get you banned for abuse, but you can look for things that are actually in the other areas to submit.
This looks like it is mostly residential, which makes it hard to find anything that isn’t on SFPRP - single family private residential property.
If they are all grouped together like you said that sounds like they have been approved within the 20mtr range under Ingress.
So be careful your not destroying any players portals under cleanup.
At a quick glance though it looks like a bit of an “abuse” rule that each piece of equipment has been approved.
Unless they were all sent in under Pokémon Go to Wayfarer/Lightship
@cyndiepooh @hankwolfman am I seeing things but Parquinho do Mirante (-23.144020,-46.933971) and the image two spots above on the contributions list are the exact same location submitted twice but at two different photo angles and dates 5/6/2022 & 31/7/25 ??
Thanks @hankwolfman
