I play ingress and pogo but i submitted only in ingress since i would like to get the badge. I guess i am in later batches as well since no mail arrived yet.
You could have done edits from PokĂ©mon GO too. They didnât need to be only from Ingress to get the Ingress reward.
For example if Iâm L37 in PokĂ©mon GO, and L10 on Ingress, I could have submitted 150 edits from PokĂ©mon GO and would still get the OPR Live tick in Ingress when the rewards came out.
Though I think youâre right in that those with an eligible account for both games will be in a later batch.
I went into the challenge with the intention of not caring about the individual reward tiers. The rewards werenât motivating for me.
I agree, the OPR Live tick is good (for Ingress players) but I hardly play Ingress anymore. Iâve gotten more use of my ingress account in the last month than I have in a few years. Iâm still using Comm to scan for portals that need edits.
Itâs so much easier to do wayspot edits sitting at home, where I can research and properly write up what the description should say, rather than trying to type it directly on my phone while standing out in the cold.
Though Iâll add here for anyone on iOS who hasnât redeemed rewards before, ignore this line in the email.
the Ingress game store
Ingress codes can be redeemed in the Ingress game store on Android only. iOS needs to use Intel Map, which Android can use too.
I imagine eventually they will have a web store like the other games and you can redeem things there directly.
Are the emails still being issued (yes, I did check my spam folder) and I just have to wait some more? Or am I just extra lucky this week?
The distribution of the email with codes will end on the 29th.
The emails do say the Intel Map or Ingress in-game, so they are covering all OS.
@mdrps Yes, emails are still being sent, and will be out to everyone by November 29th. They do them in batches.
At what point do we worry that we havenât received an email about the rewards for the OPR event? I submitted all the required things but havenât gotten an email yet. Friend of mine got his but Iâve not gotten anything. Iâm only an ingress player? Who should I reach out to if I donât get anything?
After November 29th. We still have 6 days for them to get all the emails out.
Also, if the staff knows that some of the emails may be late, they do typically post about it. Right now though, things seem to be going as planned.
Thank you!
Hi @CyberK33per
Welcome to the forum
While the challenge lasted we âpogo onlysâ thought sometimes that it is a very ingress friendly challenge, because of the remote submissions. My personal assumption is, that the amount of ingress player contributions are so much higher that that could last longer
Thereâs hope! Mine arrived this morning! If you are or were like me, just patience!
Itâs good to exercise some patience with the rewards. And with the edit decisions.
Also, for the Ingress players out there that reached Tier 3 for individual rewards, did you receive 4 capsules in total (1 from Community rewards and 3 from Individual)? We have some saying they didnât get the capsule from the Community rewards.
Hello Explorers,
Wanted to share out that ALL of the eligible reward recipients should have received their reward emails by now. We are aware of the issue reported for the Ingress rewards and will be looking into that. If you did not get an email, please feel free to reach out on here and we will take a look.
Thanks again for your participation and weâre excited to host more challenges in 2025!
Hi there, I submitted above the required edit amount and have not received any rewards. Is there any way you would be able to look into it for me? Your help is much appreciated!
I submitted 153 edits and did not receive a reward (spam folder - empty)
Hi, I didnât received an email too, my estimated edits are 163. There is no email in spam too.
Update: I just search âCongratulations - Global Edits Challenge Rewardsâ and eventually I received the rewards.
I also submitted over 150 edits (might be 200, might be less) and didnât receive anything.
(I did check spam and trash folders to make sure it wasnât the spam filter or my clumsy fingersâ fault)
