I’m sorry I didn’t mean to tag you. And I have reported but nothing was done. Please forgive me as I am trying to learn how to use this
No worries! The reply button at the bottom right tags like I am tagging you back =) The one at the very bottom after all the comments just makes a general reply to the topic.
If your report was rejected, you can appeal it with more evidence in Wayspot Appeals . Or if you would rather try again privately instead, you can report through the “Reporting Abuse” form linked at the top of the forum. That will set up a series of emails and you can submit more evidence that way.
Trailmarkers can be very nice to look at. Especially in forests or in the mountains, you can find plenty of them and they are mostly in beautyfull locations.
And then there are the other types of trailmarkers, next to busy streets, mass produced and placed every 100meters in ugly locations where nobody will ever socialize, exercise or discovery anything.
We need better rules for trailmarkers.
Moderator edit
We do have a very good explanation of the guidelines around trail markers
You will see that key principle is that it is the trail and not the marker that it is important.
So it doesn’t matter what a marker looks like, but the function it performs.
It doesn’t matter where the trail or route goes, it allows you to follow that route and get exercise by following it and explore and see things along the way.
That is how they meet the criteria.
Finally in this forum we dont post nominations we have reviewed accompanied by disparaging comments as it is not helpful, so I have removed the image you included.
