The Wayfarer team is more embarrassing than the PoGo team for trying to boast as an achievement the mistakes they made without understanding how pokestops, gyms, and power spots work.
What do our resident Wayfarer Ambassadors from India/Indonesia say?
There’s nothing around at all that can be nominated?
I mean, if Niantic Scopely are unable to reverse converted Pokestops back to powerspots then they can just import more 3rd party Wayspots to become. Which is something that I don’t want to happen.

from what i have read, some of the powerspots will show up tomorrow probably.
The sync happens on the 4th PST during day. So for Indonesia and India basically the timing is early hours of the 5th.
So sleep well and 
some new Powerspots will be there.
I will be watching for reports when I wake up

Are there any on the map? If you go to nominate a new Wayspot do some orange pins show up that are the imports?

That was leftover from max finale. But i cant even use it lol because there is no powerspot.
Just checking any local High Street or shopping centre for the imports here (UK) looks like chaos.
It would take ages to “tidy up” businesses that no longer exist, things that don’t meet Wayfarer criteria and add images etc. to them here.
I imagine it’s similar in other locations.
Someone mentioned that the Power spots sync happens around 3 AM tomorrow in our region, so I still have a tiny bit of hope left. None of the missing Power spots showed up for me today, so I’m just waiting for tomorrow.
I’ve also submitted three new wayspots after this announcement, and they’ve all been accepted, so I’m really hoping at least one of them becomes a Power spots even if the old ones don’t come back. If the old ones do return, that’ll be a bonus. Since I nominated them based on the Power spot criteria, I believe at least one should qualify if Niantic updates the map properly.
Let’s see if Niantic really listened to the feedback this time.
Well to rural area people with no pokestop at all, its still a blessing. When i start play ingress, there were 0 portal. I know the feeling of there is nothing to spin to gain inventory
Oh yeah, I can see that certainly. Kind of makes me want to set my bonus location to a rural place to approve the photos and edits.
