@baden20021 I’ve noticed that most of the nominations talk of the sign or marker rather than the sign as a proxy to what is being represented. These clarifications may be relevant:
The ML system does not go solely by the picture. Anyone saying you simply need to take a new photo is misleading you. If you are going to resubmit, you do have to take a new photo, but that alone will not usually be sufficient.
The ML system goes by what it perceives the object to be and whether it interprets that object as eligible.
Anything negative, such as a bad photo (blurred, sideways etc), people in the photo, license plates etc, will normally cause it to reject, just as human reviewers would.
If the object is perceived to be just an ordinary piece of infrastructure, it will generally detect this and reject it.
If you get an ML rejection, you need to step back and think “is this really eligible?”. If you aren’t sure, either check the criteria ( Wayspot Criteria — Wayfarer Help Center) or ask for help. If you are sure, you might be incorrect if you don’t understand the criteria - plenty of people seem to think that what matters is having an accessible location and it must be a pokestop because they want one there.
Hi update, I appealed 2 (the max i could at one time), they both have now been accepted, but now i can’t appeal anymore, how long is the cooldown?
Yay!! That’s wonderful news
The cooldown is only 15 days so not too long to wait ![]()
