No caso da Índia, chegou-se a alguma conclusão?
Dei uma olhada em vários locais e não consegui definir de onde vieram as informações, principalmente pelos POI que não existem…

Parece que foi o Ingress, porque tem um portal aqui antigo do Ingress criado por mim a uns 10 anos atrás e virou poképarada dessa última vez.

Mas se fosse no ingress todas deveriam aparecer como portais também. E nenhuma está aparentemente. Eu vi uma com um nome bem único com símbolos e tava igual no Google mas procurando outras não acho. 
Todos os pontos adicionados são importados do Google, né?
Tudo que foi adicionado em minha cidade possui uma relevância segundo o Google Maps, porém a localização da maioria deles está totalmente fora da correta
Talvez pegaram dados antigos. É estranho que tem tanta coisa errada e alguns que nem aparecem no Google.
Não acho que seja o Google, até onde sei a Niantic não tem usado nem o mapa do Google pro jogo, tá com o openstreetmaps a anos.
Pode ser um somatório de fontes, mas tá complicado de definir qual seria/m.

I really hope most of these stops don’t get removed, of course things like motels needs to be gone asap (in fact, the one next to my house that was added got removed yesterday) but points such as generic businesses should stay even if they wouldn’t normally qualify, we have to remember that the wayfarer community is quite small, so 99% of players are in fact quite happy with this update, even knowing that reviewing will become much worse because people will start submitting any junk they want, I still believe this is a positive addition and made me much more excited about playing pokemon go just to see the new stops
Interestingly, the Ingress team shared an update that they are removing all the Foursquare Imports in Turkey/ Türkiye as it messed with a game feature.
Attention Turkish Agents –
As you may have deciphered, Machina is currently disabled throughout most of Türkiye. The NIA is working to update the Portal Network there to include only Portals approved by Agents and Wayfarers that have been accepted by Niantic Wayfarer, like we do in all other regions. Additionally, we’ve intercepted Signals Intelligence with just one phrase: machina veniet.
I don’t think they’ve accepted any Foursquare imports in to their game for a while, likely due to Agent backlash about the first few.

The removal of the Turkish imports will likely be done en masse, with even the correct and valid imported stops being removed from Ingress only. That means area agents will get a Duplicate rejection if they try to nominate any of those objects in the future, so they’re forever blocked for game inclusion. How frustrating this must be for the current Agent-Wayfinders in that area! Even moreso because Ingress does not display existing Lightship or Other Games Wayspots on their nomination screen, of course.
I responded to a bit of this in another conversation, but now realize the ugly impact to the Lightship map!
These will be removed from the Ingress game board but still exist in the Lightship database. That’s awful! What a huge mistake to bring them in and then pull them out. Ingress wayfarers will be hugely impacted.

Agreed. I can understand the Ingress team not wanting the low quality stuff, but if things like basket ball courts and monuments were included in the import, those kinds of things should be in Ingress as they’re not low quality, and now they’ll never be able to show in that game, putting local agents at a disadvantage.
Honestly, if Niantic wanted to increase the amount of Pokéstops and Gyms in Pokémon Go, I don’t understand why they didn’t just create a load of their own sponsored locations. It’s not like it would cost them anything to sponsor themselves, it would be good advertising for them, and more importantly they’d be in Pokémon Go only, which seems to have been the intent. And as they wouldn’t represent real world locations, there’d be no worry of duplicates if local Ingress agents found something cool to submit. That way the Pokémon Go team gets what they want with more Pokéstops and Gyms in areas (some of which probably didn’t actually need them), and Ingress agents aren’t disadvantaged by invisible duplicates that can never be in their game even if they meet the proximity rules.
But what do I know?

I do wonder if they will remove the previous import portals here in Brazil too.

Whether this import was requested by Niantic’s shareholders or actively conducted by Niantic, I don’t know.
However, as has been clear in past imports in India, the majority of PGO Trainers don’t care what the pokestop looks like.
Looking at India, there are still only gray pictures of wayspots.
And they don’t edit out things and places that are not eligible or should be removed, and even if they are in the wrong places.
Of course, they don’t add photos.
And no AR scans.
The majority of PGO trainers will not share Niantic’s future, neither now nor in the future.
So in the future, Niantic will lose the AR location database dominance in the region to its rivals.
As a result, the only thing that will remain is the fact that the Wayfarer manager and team have destroyed Niantic’s future.

I get reached out with people wanting to nominate inegible things or asking why their pokestops were rejected. I hope is made clear to the community that the wayfarer criteria has not changed in Brazil.

I’m sure it’ll be (unfortunately) just as clear as it is in India or Turkiye or any of the other “4sq import without thought” countries
Also want to add this, a ton of schools were imported when they shouldn’t have. All these are in titles for k-12 schools. Everytime I open wayfarer I see a ton of them. With a quick search with any of them + Brazil it’s really easy to see they are k-12.
